I cannot imagine the stress Mrs. Bennet must be going through. Having that many girls and none are eloped yet? Dissapointing. Jane the eldest and most beautiful hasn't recieved a proposal yet, and Elizabeth is denying a perfectly good one? I don't understand the time period they think they're in. This is the late 1800's! Woman must settle down with a man. Mrs. Bennet has to be stressed with the thought of her offspring becoming witches..
Thank you very much for complimenting my beauty Caroline. But, this honestly is not your place to judge. There are things about our family that you do not understand, and the best thing for you to do would be to leave us alone.
ReplyDeleteIf I may say so, Mrs. Bennet is insane. She has total prejudice towards myself for reasons I am not sure of. She micro-manages her daughter's lives, and she needs to back off. If she minded her own business maybe she would calm down and not have nervous breakdowns all over the place. I can only feel for Mr. Bennet, poor-soul!
ReplyDeleteWell, actually Elizabeth has now denied two perfectly good proposals, but not that I hold a grudge or anything like that!!! I have found my true love in Charlotte, maybe one day Jane and Lizzy, and you too, may say the same. TTFN!!!
ReplyDeleteI know the way it my seem to the outsiders eye, but my sisters and i have not intended to be alone, nor do we choose to stay that way. My sisters reasonings for her declines are based strictly upon principle and should be kept personal. As for myself, i would do anything to have back my beloved Bingley, and i can only hope that one day he will return back to me.
