While I confronted Elizabeth on the subject of Wickam joining her family, she dodged my subject. I believe Elizabeth knows Wickams true personality and is ashamed to call him her brother.
She very well may be ashamed of the fact, and it is not our place to poke and proud at the situation. i understand your dislike of her but please do try and refrain from antagonising her. It will do you no good.
I have under estimated you Caroline. You have intuition that should be attended to. I'm not saying you're correct, however i will admit, you are smarter than i anticipated.
I have to admit I am not at all proud to call Wickham my brother. He is a terrible human being, and he is a disgrace to the family name. While Lydia seems completely content, our family is truly hurt. I am sorry I seemed so brash.
